AUSTIN (KXAN) — When the 2023 high school football season began, the Wimberley Texans had a bad taste in their mouth after a 42-0 shutout loss to Carthage in the 2022 4A Division II title game. Justin Jefferson broke his elbow as a teenager at Destrehan High School in Louisiana. CITY SC has agreed to trade midfielder Jared Stroud, defender Lucas Bartlett and $300,000 in general allocation money to D.C. United for midfielder Chris Durkin. Detective Antonio Valentine was killed in a violent head-on crash on December 1, 2021, on Chambers Road in Bellefontaine Neighbors.The bridge being named after him is the Telegraph Road bridge over the Meramec River.
